There is a new method that is being used to reshape a patient’s loss. It is called surgery free rhinoplasty and it goes against the traditional way of having intensive and painful nose job surgery.

This new method is being called the “five-minute nose job” and it promises to provide the patient with instant results. This procedure uses fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane, which should provide the patient with the desired results, without having pain, bruising and swelling that is associated with traditional rhinoplasty surgery.

People have become more interested in the surgery free nose job, as they do not have to go under the knife to get the desired results that they want. They also won’t have to live with surgery, financial costs or the stigma that is often associated with this cosmetic procedure.

Rhinoplasty is a cosmetic procedure that is often done under general anesthetic. Oftentimes incisions are made at the base of the nose or in the nostrils. This is done as it gives the surgeon the opportunity to access and reashape the cartilage and inner bone. Once the procedure is finished, the patient needs to wear a nasal splint for a few weeks. It generally takes a couple of months for the bruising and swelling to disappear completely and for the patient to see the effects of the surgery.

With surgery free rhinoplasty it is a lot different. There are no incisions, cuts or anesthetic that is used. A numbing cream is applied to the patient’s nose and then a shot of freezing. The developer of the procedure, Stephen Mulholland, often mixes local anesthetic with adrenaline which allows the blood vessels to constrict and as a result this will minimize bruising and swelling. After this is applied, it takes about 10 minutes for the freezing to set and then the procedure can be done. The fillers such as Restylane or Juvederm are injected into the nose in many different spots. Once this is done, the hand is used to shape and sculpt the nose to the desired shape.

Other fillers like saline can be used, but will last only a couple of days. Using Restylane or Juvederm can have results that will last anywhere from 6 months up to a year. There are new long-term gels that are available that can last up words of 10 years before being needed to be refilled.

Cost wise, the surgery free rhinoplasty is a lot cheaper than a regular nose job. The regular rhinoplasty procedure can cost anywhere between $3000 and $8000. On the other hand, using Restylane or Juvederm will end up costing the patient around $1000 – $1500. Aside from it being surgery free, the cost is a round 1/3 less than the traditional cosmetic procedure.

The results of this nose reshaping procedure can last anywhere from half a year to one year. This works out very well for patients who have no desire to go under the knife. It is also good for people who want to get a feel to how their new noses will look if done using the rhinoplasty procedure.

It should be noted that the searcher free nose job does not replace rhinoplasty. To get the desired and long-term effects on a patient’s nose, it is recommended that they have the nose job done, as this is just a temporary solution.
